Several times each year the opportunity exist for students to complete on-campus residencies for both Master and Doctoral courses. A host of courses are available to students in accordance with demand.
"I have just attended my third residential course in SMC University's Learning Center in Vienna (after having completed the previous five courses on-line). The days were filled with interesting discussions and valuable learning experiences with fellow students from all over the world. Professor Bräuchle, who was in charge of the International Marketing Management course, acted as a facilitator and coach rather than as a traditional teacher, thereby providing many opportunities for us students to interact, present and think outside the box! Highly valuable pre and post assignments complemented the on-site responsibilities, to strengthen our analytical abilities and maximize our learning curve. In addition, SMC's administrative team, including Ms. Dina El-Asir and Mr. Barry Meulenbelt, provided excellent service throughout our stay, not only ensuring comfortable accommodation was arranged, but also that a great variety of lunches was offered, and a traditional Austrian soiree arranged, where we all had the opportunity to "let our hair down" and socialize in a warm, friendly and enjoyable environment. All in all, the residential option has proved to be a truly valuable and enriching alternative to the on-line courses".

The residency periods enable students from a multitude of countries and cultures to interact with one another in a collegiate and encouraging atmosphere. Fellows student meet and have the opportunity to exchange ideas and information about their courses and program of interest face-to-face over the course of several days. It truly is a dynamic learning process for all involved.
More importantly, student are able to meet both the administration and faculty and get to know them on an individual basis. Professors as well enjoy the chance to add a personal touch to their ability to guide the students not just in studies but also through the often demanding pace of the residencies themselves.
